ACE-MAP Study Childhood Experience and Chronic Pain

ACE-MAP Study Childhood Experience and Chronic Pain

Researchers from the University of Dundee are looking for people aged 18+, to participate in a study looking at whether our childhood experiences affect how we feel pain as adults. They are looking for a broad range of people to take part.

What does it involve? You will be asked to attend a single 3-hour session at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. The researcher can arrange this to suit your schedule. You will complete a consent form and some questionnaires. You will also do some tests of your sensations (like temperature, light touch, and pin-prick).

If you would like to take part in this study, please get in touch with the SHARE Studies Team by telephone on 01382 383235 or email at [email protected] and we can tell you more about the study.
