Dundee kidney partnership featured as an example of work for the public benefit in Scottish Government video

A partnership between the University of Dundee, University of Glasgow, NHS Scotland and Astra Zeneca (led by Dr Samira Bell) has been featured in this Programme for Government video by the Scottish Government.

The partnership was announced over the summer months and will work with partners on new medicines to slow the progression of chronic kidney disease, reducing the risk that patients might need dialysis or kidney transplantation. It was chosen to feature as an example of funding being used for the greater public good.
